By using the Service, you agree to comply with this AUP. Its purpose is to protect the security, integrity, and reliability of our network and the Service for all users.
2. Prohibited Uses
You may not use the Service for any illegal, harmful, or otherwise objectionable purpose. The following is a non-exhaustive list of prohibited activities:
2.1. Illegal and Harmful Activities
- Engaging in any activity that is illegal under applicable local, national, or international law.
- Transmitting or storing any material that infringes any copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or other proprietary rights of any third party.
- Engaging in activities that are defamatory, harassing, abusive, fraudulent, or that promote violence or hatred.
2.2. System and Network Security Violations
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other users' accounts, or any computer systems or networks connected to the Service.
- Interfering with or disrupting the Service, including but not limited to denial-of-service (DoS) attacks, mail bombing, or other flooding techniques.
- Probing, scanning, or testing the vulnerability of the Service or any related system or network without our express written permission.
- Using any manual or automated means to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to discover the source code of the Service.
2.3. Resource Abuse
- Using the Service in a manner that consumes excessive CPU time, bandwidth, or other system resources, thereby impairing the performance or availability of the Service for other users.
- Configuring camera streams in a way that intentionally overloads our processing servers.
3. Content Standards for Video Feeds
As the Data Controller for your video feeds, you are solely responsible for the content you stream to our Service. You agree not to stream any content that:
- Violates the privacy of any individual. You must have the legal right and, where required, the consent of individuals to record and stream their images.
- Is located in private spaces where there is a reasonable expectation of privacy, such as bathrooms, changing rooms, or private residences, without the explicit consent of all parties.
- Contains illegal acts, sexually explicit material, or gratuitous violence.
- Is sourced from a camera or network that you do not have the legal right to access and control.
4. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.
5. Enforcement and Violations
Firevision reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine whether a user has violated this AUP. Any neglect or violation of this policy is a serious matter and will be treated as such.
We may take any of the following actions, with or without prior notice:
- Issue a formal warning.
- Suspend your access to the Service.
- Immediately terminate your account and access to the Service.
- Report the activity to law enforcement authorities and provide them with any information we have, to the extent permitted by law.
You agree that Firevision will not be liable to you or any third party for any suspension or termination of your access to the Service as a result of your violation of this AUP. No refunds will be issued for services terminated due to a violation of this policy.
6. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, you agree to notify us immediately. Please report any such activity by emailing us at info@firevision.uk with detailed information about the alleged violation.
7. Modifications to this Policy
We reserve the right to modify this AUP at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy on our website and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new AUP.
